In collaboration with General Technical University (Thanlyin), UNESCO is organizing “Growing Up Healthy and Happy" training, a reproductive and sexual health training for the University's students from 22 October to 25 October 2013.
The training is based on the “Connections" modules developed with the support of UNESCO and UNPFA regional offices.
The objectives are:
• To provide young people with sexual and reproductive health knowledge (SRH) and to promote healthy sexual behaviors and protect themselves from adverse reproductive health outcomes
• To provide students about HIV information and protect themselves from getting HIV
• To understand that risk of drugs and alcohol and skills to assess themselves from risky conditions
• To build their confident to talk about SRH and find out ways to disseminate SRH knowledge to other students.
Training dates: 22-24 October 2013 ( 9.00 am to 5.00 pm)
Venue: Central Hotel, 335-337 Bogyoke Aung San Road, Pabedan Township, Yangon
Training cost and other information
Training is free for all participants. All participants will be provided lunch and tea during training days. Training notes and other items will be provided free.
